Problem
A loud streetwear label had a winter sale to launch and no digital presence that matched its attitude.
My role
Solo designer and developer - interactions, frontend and business logic, built in the browser with Astro and Tailwind.
Outcome
An image-heavy store that still loads fast, with a frictionless checkout, ready for the winter rush.

Summary

Delivered a fully functional, high-performance e-commerce site ready for the winter rush. By entirely "vibe coding" this project from end-to-end, I bypassed traditional bottlenecks and created a platform that feels less like a template and more like a bold, digital extension of the Hoodude brand.

Problem

The client needed a fast, conversion-optimized e-commerce website to launch their winter sale for premium hoodies. Their brand is loud, unapologetic, and tailored for streetwear enthusiasts, but they lacked a digital presence to match. Off-the-shelf templates felt too rigid and lacked the "hype" factor required to drive winter sale conversions.

Research & Personas

I focused on the core demographic: Gen-Z and young millennials deeply rooted in hype-culture, limited drops, and premium materials. They don’t just buy clothes-they buy attitude. The primary persona values visual impact, speed, and social proof, meaning the site had to be image-heavy but lightning-fast, with a frictionless checkout flow.

Challenge

The biggest hurdle was balancing the heavy, high-resolution lifestyle photography required for premium fashion with the strict performance needed for e-commerce. On top of that, acting as a solo contributor meant I had to architect the frontend, design the interactions, and build the business logic simultaneously without getting bogged down in endless planning phases.

Solution

Instead of traditional, rigid wireframing and endless handoffs, I vibe coded the entire application end-to-end. By building directly in the browser using Astro and TailwindCSS, I was able to feel the interactions, tune the micro-animations, and iterate on the UI in real-time.

  • High-impact hero section with emotional hooks and strong typography
  • Scarcity marquees for limited-edition drops to drive FOMO
  • Dynamic product shelves for new arrivals and best sellers
  • A responsive, mobile-first design optimized for lightning-fast loading
