Overview
PrepHike is an interview preparation product for software engineers, built around evidence from what a candidate actually said in their interviews. They wanted to redesign their website, so I designed a new one and vibe-coded the front end.
- Redesigned the visual direction and page structure
- Vibe-coded the new front end
- Made it responsive across desktop and mobile
Problem
The client wanted a website redesign - one that explains a fairly structured product quickly, without reading like documentation.
Solution
I built the page around the product's own examples, so visitors see how it works instead of reading claims:
- A hero that pairs the headline with a real-looking interview debrief
- A section showing what the product throws away and what it keeps
- An animated evidence ledger showing rounds turning into evidence
- A side-by-side of a job description against what the candidate can prove
- The six-step loop - Track, Debrief, Ledger, Target, Rewrite, Rehearse - and a closing call to action
I designed the direction first, then vibe-coded it into the working front end, iterating between the two until the live site matched the design.
Outcome
The redesigned website is live at prephike.com. My scope was the redesign and front end - the product itself, its app and backend were not part of my work.
I design for clarity, not decoration. Let's build something people can trust.
